Getting Started

In the Company of Heroes: Licking County Veterans Project

In the Company of Heroes: Licking County Veterans Project Logo

Licking County Library has started In the Company of Heroes: Licking County Veterans Project in order to gather and preserve the experiences of veterans that are from or have lived in Licking County. We will be compiling photographs, copies of service records, letters, diaries and if possible a video or audio record of our veterans from the Revolution through the present day. These will be added to an online database so people can readily access this information.

“It is our goal that all generations will be able to learn, understand and recognize the sacrifices made by these men and women for their country,” said Doug Stout, Heroes Project Coordinator and Head of Circulation/Building Services. If you or someone you know would like to participate in this program, please contact Doug at (740) 349-5571 or dstout@lickingcountylibrary.info
